History and Organization Profile

In the Winter of 2022, Bruner Family Medicine, Caritas Internal Medicine, and Seton Women's Center, once part of part of SCL Health Graduate Medical Education clinics, combined operations to form Uptown Community Health Center (UCHC). Uptown Community Health Center is a stand-alone not for profit 501c3. We are here to continue providing the quality care our patients deserve regardless of the individual’s ability to pay. As homebase sites for Saint Joseph Hospital Graduate Medical Education programs, our resident providers continue to be trained under the leadership of Saint Joseph Hospital physicians. Uptown Community Health Center maintains a close working relationship with Saint Joseph Hospital.
