Our Board
Uptown Community Health Center is guided by a Board of Directors made up of people from the community we serve.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike, at least 51% of our board members are patients of Uptown. This ensures that the voices of those who receive care here directly shape the services and decisions that impact them.
Our board must also reflect the diversity of our patient population, including factors like age, race, gender, and background. This representation helps us understand and respond to the needs of all parts of our community.
Working alongside our leadership team, the board helps us stay true to our mission, meet the highest quality standards, and ensure every patient has access to excellent, compassionate care—no matter their income or insurance status.
